Clarissa Smith, Registered Dietitian

Clarissa's passion for nutrition started when she saw the difference it made with managing her own health conditions. Since studying dietetics at Mount Saint Vincent University, and completing her internship at The Hospital for Sick Children, Clarissa has been working in many settings in the Annapolis Valley including long term care, private practice, and Nova Scotia Health.

Clarissa has a particular interest in gut health and digestive conditions, reproductive health, fertility and pregnancy.

Clarissa has experience and expertise working with individuals throughout their lifespan, including children, pregnant individuals and older adults.

Clarissa uses an inclusive approach to food and nutrition to provide patients with strategies to support their health goals and/or disease management. Clarissa has a strong passion for digestive disorders and women’s health.
