Summer + Fall Pilates, Fall Physiotherapy Bookings, Equestrian Physiotherapy, Queen's Research Update, News from Brea, 2026 Maritime Pelvic Physiotherapy Conference

July, August, and September Pilates

Registration is available for the remaining summer, and fall, Pilates classes - you can register online via our website, email the clinic, or give us a call at 902-582-7781 (please note we have a voicemail to email function so leave a message if we miss your call).

We have been enjoying nature-based rehabilitation at our outdoor studio (pictured above); of course we move inside when raining or too humid! If a class appears full online, please add yourself to the waitlist!

There will be three Pilates classes in August on Wednesdays at 9:30am on the 12th, 19th, and 26th.

Fall Physiotherapy Bookings

Our Physiotherapist, Jessica Bergevin, has opened her fall schedule for bookings. She will be available for Physiotherapy Tuesday and Thursday afternoons this fall with some additional availability added throughout the week. She also keeps a waitlist function you can use. Jessica has also added availability on August 12 and 13 - You can Book Here

When not in clinic, Jessica will be teaching Anatomy at Dalhousie in the Physiotherapy School and Pilates at Acadia in the Kinesiology School.

Queen's Research (and Graduation!) Update

Jessica graduated from Queen's University in May with a Doctor of Science in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership. Jessica's research contributes to the growing prenatal physiotherapy literature.

If you would like to read the abstract of her dissertation, it can be found here: Read Abstract

The manuscripts are under embargo (hidden) while her research team works towards publications targeting Physiotherapy Canada and the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada.

News from Brea

We are excited to share that Kinesiologist Brea will be starting the Master's of Physiotherapy program at Dalhousie in September. Brea started at the clinic in November of 2023 as a volunteer, then progressed from part-time over the summers to our clinic manager. We are grateful for Brea's contributions to the clinic and patient care; we will miss her here, but can't wait to cheer her on as she starts this new chapter! Funny enough, because Jessica is teaching anatomy at Dalhousie this fall to Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy students, Brea will be in Jessica's class!
